In mid-June, the 2019/2020 progress report of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security was tabled in the House of Commons.

Much delayed, the report covers the period of April 1, 2019 to March 30, 2020.

The report includes a summary of the progress that has been made by the Government of Canada partners who are part of the national action plan, as well as individual reports from the Department of National Defence/Canadian Armed Forces, the Department of Justice, Global Affairs Canada, Women and Gender Equality Canada, Public Safety Canada, the RCMP, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

The current national action plan covers the period 2017/2022.
