Longtime contributor and former Board and Executive Committee member Robin Collins, will receive the 2026 Annual Achievement Award from Canadian Leadership for Nuclear Disarmament (CLND), a project of the Canadian Pugwash Group, on October 1st.
The award recognizes Collins’ decades of work advancing nuclear disarmament, peace, alternative defence, and United Nations peacekeeping. For more than 35 years, he has contributed to organizations and initiatives working toward a safer and more peaceful international system, including serving as Chair of Mines Action Canada and Co-Chair of the Canadian Network to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. He currently serves as Secretary of the Canadian Pugwash Group and as a Board member of the Rideau Institute.

The lecture and award presentation begin at 4:00 p.m ET. In-person registration has now closed, but participants can still register to attend virtually.
Following the award presentation, Robin will deliver a keynote lecture exploring how meaningful change takes place even in the face of seemingly overwhelming global challenges.
