This week, the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence continued their study of issues related to the government’s Defence Policy Review that they began in the spring.

On Monday, WFMC President Walter Dorn spoke at the committee, along with Lieutenant-General (Ret’d) the Honourable Roméo Dallaire. Later in the week, other speakers included Carolyn McAskie, Former Special Representative of the Secretary General (SRSG), Michael Ferguson, Auditor General of Canada, General Jonathan Vance, Chief of the Defence Staff and Lieutenant-General Christine Whitecross, Commander, Military Personnel Command and soon to be Commandant of the NATO Defense College in Rome.
