Last winter a number of WFMC members and supporters contributed to the advocacy around the longstanding campaign to encourage Canadian parliamentarians to endorse the proposal for a United Nations Parliamentary Assembly (UNPA). Together we were successful in increasing the number of Canadian parliamentarians who support a UNPA from 33 MPs and Senators to the present 54.

Nevertheless, there are more parliamentarians to contact, many of whom would likely support the proposed Parliamentary Assembly at the UN if they were asked.
