The World Federalist Movement – Canada Annual Members Meeting will be held in Kingston, Ontario on November 11th. This year’s meeting will be held jointly with PeaceQuest, an organization the World Federalists have partnered with for the last four years.
The same weekend, PeaceQuest will be hosting two events:
- Imagining Peace: A Vision for Canada an all-day event on Saturday, November 10th, featuring a keynote speech from peace scholar Paul Rogers and a panel discussion featuring a group of local and national peace promoters; and
- An Afternoon for Peace, a very special Remembrance Day celebration with music, art and performance to remember and renew the commitment to peacebuilding will be held on Sunday, November 11th.
WFMC’s World Peace Award will be presented to Paul Rogers during the Saturday event and a reception in his honour will be held that evening.
Registration for the PeaceQuest events is separate from the RSVP for the WFMC AMM and reception. Direction on both can be found here.
